| Weather in the Lake
Wallenpaupack area of Northeastern Pennsylvania
ranges from 98 degree days in the middle of July
to -10 degree days in the middle of
January...and in between is a mix of all sorts
of stuff. Sometimes the bitter cold is here in
October, and other years we don't see snow until
February. And some summers we don't see higher
than 85! Personally, I think that's a big part
of why Wayne and Pike counties are such an
amazing place to live...you will never, ever be
bored with the climate! |

| Spring
always brings new growth, and nothing compares
to seeing those first buds pop out on the trees
and the bulbs emerging (sometimes from a
snowpack!). Summer turns the
whole world green, and looking out over Lake
Wallenpaupack is such a treat, filled with boats
and other watercraft. Fall
foliage in the Poconos is an amazing sight, and
folks travel from all over the US to come see
the trees appear to burst into flames of red,
orange and yellow. Winter
brings the snow, and you've never encountered
'quiet' until you step outside in the middle of
a snowstorm here...it's one of the most peaceful
experiences ever to be had. |

| No matter what your favorite
season is, you'll enjoy all of them here in the
Lake Wallenpaupack area. Of
course, you can always become a snowbird...those
are the folks who make their summer homes in
Wayne and Pike counties and head south to their
winter abodes as soon as the first flakes fly.
